"her style of poetry is refreshing because it’s reminiscent of old poets and she keeps it uniquely true to who she is as an individual. she has a strong voice and a gift when it comes to coming up with the most appropriate phrases to evoke an emotional reaction in the reader. everything that we may notice about our surroundings has been covered in her poems, with as much beauty as is expected of an innately talented writer/poetess."
hi, i'm emma
somewhere on the path through adolescence into adulthood, i lost my voice and my poems, i found them again first in music and then through a chance meeting with a poet on a beach in northern spain, where i was encouraged to share my words. it's hard to stand up against the great masters and call oneself a poet, but the way the world holds out strands of words for me to catch and weave with other words, the way it pumps through my blood, can only be that, poetry. i experience the world intensely as poetry, translating it into words on paper. without a reader i am just journalling in poetic form, so thank you for reading. you are appreciated.
